The purpose of the Adult Services Committee is to provide a forum for discussion, networking and problem solving; to make recommendations to appropriate TLN committees or departments; and to provide opportunities for continuing education. We meet bi-monthly and often have speakers give presentations to the group. We also host a continuing education workshop each year which focuses on professional development and current library issues. At least once a year we plan a field trip during which we visit libraries and other places of interest. Our goal is to provide professional development and networking opportunities so that we might share ideas and learn from each other.
