The purpose of the E-Content committee is to optimize the operation of the e-content, downloadable delivery service. In other words, our purpose is to manage our current e-content account through Overdrive, known as Download Destination. We create policies to maximize the effectiveness of this venture by our consortium, including a selection policy, create the mechanism by which new materials are selected and purchased, monitor use, respond to patron demand, and maintain a helpdesk to help patrons successfully use this service.
